Delaware County commissioners Monday contined their hold on building permits for a proposed 10,000 hog farm north of Muncie. That followed a February action to put a hold on any permit for a confined animal feeding operation. Lawmakers hope the delay will allow the county attorney to work on regulations for CAFO’s.

An Anderson man is facing child molestation charges. 27-year-old Jesse Blinson is accused of molesting a 6-year-old girl while her mother was at work. The victim told police that Blinson would also take pictures of her sometimes. According to a court records, the incidents took place in Feb. 2017
Muncie’s Fresh Thyme Farmers Market should be open soon. City officials have say that the supermarket along McGalliard Road will open on April 16. The opening date gives the city time to work on infrastructure improvements, including a new traffic signal at the entrance.
