Madison County Coroner Marian Dunnichay says 94-year-old Richard D. Hunt died of drowning and suffered a heart attack after he fell in the water of Andersonâs Shadyside Lake Wednesday. A toxicology report due in a few weeks will show the manner of death.

Thirty years have passed since tragedy struck near the Indianapolis International Airport. On October 20th, 1987, an Air Force jet attempting to make an emergency landing, crashed into a bank and then a Ramada Inn hotel near the airport, killing ten people.

East Central Indiana drivers will regain use of all four lanes of Ind. 3 south of Muncie beginning next month. The six-month project to rebuild Ind. 3 from the Muncie Bypass to the northern Henry County town of Luray is scheduled to be completed in November.
